Tulsa, O.K. — Today, the Tulsa Firefighters Political Action Committee (Tulsa FirePAC) announced its endorsement of Representative Markwayne Mullin for election to the United States Senate. Tulsa FirePAC represents more than 700 active and retired Tulsa Firefighters in Oklahoma.

“I have been fortunate to know Markwayne Mullin for years, and I am confident that he is the battle-tested conservative fighter we need in the U.S. Senate,” said Matt Lay, President of the Tulsa Fire Department and Chairman of Tulsa FirePAC. “Markwayne has always been an outstanding, reliable resource for Oklahoma first responders, and he has consistently supported Tulsa Firefighters in our mission to promote public safety in our state. As a successful business owner, Markwayne knows what it takes to get the job done and he never backs down from a challenge. Oklahoma would be lucky to have Markwayne as our next U.S. Senator, and we are proud to endorse him today.”

“For over 100 years, the Tulsa Firefighters have worked tirelessly to provide exceptional public services and keep our communities safe,” said Markwayne Mullin. “It’s very humbling to have their support in our race for Senate, and I am so grateful to the generations of firefighter heroes who live the Oklahoma Standard each and every day. With their endorsement, we look forward to advancing our fight to the U.S. Senate to support first responders, defend our American values, and protect our Oklahoma way of life.”
